What it simulates
PRF is simulated at two levels only. A stronger option would overpromise on a treatment that is deliberately mild.
The under-eye tint lightens by about one shade, roughly halfway toward the colour of the cheek. Dark circles are still clearly visible.
The under-eye tint lightens by about two to three shades, at least three quarters of the way toward the cheek colour and never matching it.
Brown and bluish-purple tint is what lightens, blended into the cheek with a soft gradient.
Fine crinkles on the lower lid become shallower. A smooth lid stays smooth, and no line is ever added.
PRF does not fill. The shape and depth of the tear trough hollow and of any bags stay as in the photo.
If the hollow itself is the problem, that is a filler question. Compare both on the same photo.
Clinical limits
The failure to avoid is a pale, matte oval that looks like makeup. The simulation lightens the patient's own skin colour and changes nothing else.
