What the preview shows
A whiter smile, shown honestly
Whitening mode is built to change the colour of the teeth only: the AI is told to keep each tooth's shape, edges, gaps and position, as with real bleaching. Compare the result with the patient's photo before you present it.
- The chosen shade is applied evenly to the visible teeth, and stains and discolouration fade toward it.
- Tooth shape, chips, gaps and alignment are meant to stay as they are: whitening changes colour, not shape.
- Teeth already lighter than the chosen shade keep their colour.
- A1 and A2 stay natural and are never pushed to bleach white.
- Lips, gums and the rest of the face stay unchanged.
Whitening vs. veneers
Professional whitening changes colour only, and how white teeth can get depends on the patient's enamel. Present the preview as the target shade, and use the veneer simulator when shape is part of the plan.

How does an AI teeth whitening simulator work?
You take a photo of the patient smiling and choose a target VITA shade. The AI applies that shade to the visible teeth so the patient can see the result before treatment.
Which whitening shades can I preview?

Does the whitening preview change tooth shape?
It shouldn't. Whitening mode tells the AI to change the colour only and keep each tooth's shape, edges, gaps and position; compare the result with the photo before showing it. For a reshaped smile, use the veneer simulation.
Can whitening really reach BL1?
Not always. Whitening results depend on the patient's natural enamel, and the brightest bleach shades are often only reached with veneers. The preview shows the target, and the clinician advises on what is realistic.
